Bruce Collins, a visual artist originally from Sydney, Australia now lives in the mild, sub-tropical Northern Rivers region of New South Wales. He has a Diploma in Painting and Drawing from the National Art School in Sydney, achieved with the help of a Commonwealth Mature Age Scholarship.

As a child, Bruce showed an innate propensity and talent for drawing. His earliest extant piece, a watercolour painted at the age of 11, was highly commended at the time when exhibited.

Bruce's  artwork styles range from the semi-abstract to the figurative, with currently more emphasis on the latter. The media he uses are digital and oil paintings or with a fusion of both using the technique of oil painting on certain areas of a digital print on canvas.
